The UK Economy
The UK economy is stalled in a recession and although it is coming out of this slowly, according to reports (2010), the country will face many years of tax increases and spending cuts to pay for the damage.
The Woodford plan will help provide a dramatic alternative to this situation and revive the nation by stimulating economic activity and growth in new technology industries.

Tax Earnings from the plan
A huge scientific effort will produce enormous cashflows in the UK economy spinning out to the world.
I have estimated that over the first twenty years the returns to the Treasury from investment in high technology industries will be enough to repay all national debts.
There is no need for higher taxes, just more, profitable enterprise.

The Parliamentary Presentation
Let's take the message to Parliament.
The Woodford rescue plan is a clear business presentation of the economic benefits of supporting the plan as a focal point for producing new tax revenues at no risk to the Treasury.
This presentation will take place either in the House of Commons with the active support of local MPs or adjoining at a time convenient for the maximum attendance of politicians and the press.
The presentation will give the government an alternative to current polities - that the revival of our economy will come about through large-scale investment more than taxation and spending cuts; that cuts and taxes ARE NOT needed; that such projects will offer the returns sufficient to repay the nation's debts and more; and that the timescales are short enough to show a positive effect in the first few years.
The highlights of the presentation include:-
- The historic context - how large-scale investment in advanced technologies and manufacturing have produced rapid, remarkable breakthroughs and new industrial revolutions in many fields.
- The introduction of a new project to act as focal point for such a new investment.
- The benefits to the country, with Woodford as a centre of excellence in research and production.
- The opportunities to increase national economic activity as create new jobs, new incomes, new revenues to the country.
- The opportunity to stimulate new prosperity to lift the country and the world out of recession.
- Did I mentioned Woodford?
We are going to offer the country hope for the future not a decade of cold economic restraint.
